Cubs ship outfielder Canario, 24, to hobbled Mets
Hit hard by injuries early in spring training, the New York Mets added some depth on Monday night, when they acquired outfielder Alexander Canario from the Chicago Cubs, a 24-year-old veteran who made his major league debut in September 2023, for cash.
