Ovechkin scores No. 889, now 6 from NHL record
Washington captain Alex Ovechkin scored the 889th goal of his career to move six goals away from breaking Wayne Gretzky's NHL record, and helped the Capitals to a point before the Winnipeg Jets rallied in overtime to secure a 3-2 victory on Tuesday night.
