UN Human Rights Council launches probe into abuses in eastern DR Congo
The UN's top human rights body on Friday launched an investigation into alleged abuses during the escalating crisis in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) and adopted a resolution urging Rwanda-backed M23 soldiers to retreat immediately from occupied territory.
