Vance meets leader of Germany's far-right AfD, attacks Europe over 'firewalls' against populism
US Vice President JD Vance on Friday met with Alice Weidel, leader of the far-right Alternative for Germany party, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. Vance also lectured European leaders about free speech and said there was no place for “firewalls” against far-right parties.
